Rooted in Defense

In this unique and challenging game, you take on the role of a sole ancient tree, tasked with protecting it from relentless attacks from both termites and beavers. With each passing night, these nocturnal pests will attempt to ravage your tree and diminish its growth, but fear not! You have the power to extend your tree's roots deep into the soil in search of valuable resources such as sediments, water, and even mushrooms. 

These resources not only help to sustain the tree, but also attract helpful creatures like ants and foxes to defend it. As you progress through the game, you will learn the importance of balancing the growth and health of your tree with its defense. You must carefully manage your resources to ensure that your tree is both strong enough to fend off attacks and able to continue growing. 

The ultimate goal is to grow your tree as strong and healthy as possible, and defend it against all odds. Will you have what it takes to become a master tree manager?

Controls: 

• Q or D => Launch ants against termites
• Z => Deploy your guarding fox (3 HP)
• S => Open shop to buy ants or foxes with the sediments you found
• 1, 2, 3 => Grow your roots
• 0 => Shuffle roots (will reset every new day)
• Directions => Explore the underground to grow your roots
